GROW TOGETHER
ways to grow together
Our second step in making disciples after loving God is to grow together with other believers in Christ. We believe the primary way we learn to follow Jesus happens in community. God has placed us in the body of Christ to give us a safe environment to grow spiritually. Becoming part of a life group will allow you to grow together in Christ and with the people of God.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN
TO GROW TOGETHER?
WE GROW TOGETHER BY BECOMING MORE LIKE JESUS AS WE LEARN,
APPLY AND GROW IN THESE DISCIPLINES OF THE FAITH.
V
Transparency / Honesty
In agreement with God as to who I really am. As you mature as a believer honesty and transparency with God and others become essential in your life. If you are to grow in Christ and with other believers you will have a need to be honest and transparent with people and with God.
GIVING / STEWARDSHIP
One area of your life that will be impacted as you develop as a follower of Christ is the area of personal finances and wealth. Growing believers have an ever deepening awareness that all they possess and earn comes from the Lord and ultimately belongs to Jesus. Learning how to give at least a tenth of your income and far beyond, to the local church takes faith, joy and obedience. Sharing what God has entrusted to you and recognizing spiritual and physical needs is evidence you are growing in Christ and with others.
UNCONDITIONAL LOVE
Growing together, in Christ, with other believers means you will love and accept people without placing conditions upon them. You will begin to desire to restore broken relationships. Unconditional and sacrificial kindness, care, generosity and concern will begin to blossom as you grow in Christ and with others.
LIFE GROUP PARTICIPATION
In order to grow together in Christ with other believer’s takes time. Time spent getting to know people and what God is doing with them in their own spiritual journey. Sharing the common joys and frustrations of life through small group fellowships with other believers will be one way you are encouraged, challenged and held accountable in your journey with Christ. We highly recommend you plug into a small group.
Serving
A mark of growing in Christ and with others is the willingness to serve God and others through ministry. Every believer is given at least one spiritual gift and numerous talents and abilities to be used to further spread the kingdom of God here on earth. A willingness to serve others as Jesus served is one true mark of a follower of Jesus.
Family Discipleship
Growing disciples follow Jesus at church, in their community but also in their home. As you mature in Christ and learn His word you will have a desire to impact and disciple your family God has surrounded you with. God calls you to be a faithful disciple first and foremost in your home to the people you love most.
