Serving Opportunities at Calvary
Whatever your strengths or passions, there are many ways you can align your interests with serving opportunities.
We value kids at Calvary, so we need qualified volunteers to serve as classroom leaders & helpers! There are various opportunities to serve with kids from infants all the way up to 5th grade.
Times to Serve
Sunday morning Kids Nursery (9:45-11:15), Sunday morning Kids Worship (10:15-11:15), Sunday morning Life Group Sunday school (11:30-12:15), and Wednesday evenings (6:00-7:30).
We want to invest in the next generation, so we need qualified volunteers to serve as small-group leaders & helpers! There are various opportunities to serve with teens from 6th grade all the way up to Seniors in High School.

Sunday mornings (11:30-12:15) and Wednesday evenings (6:00-7:30).
Visitors to our church can be intimidated by the size and amount of people here on a Sunday morning. Helpful volunteers greet people as they walk in, help them find a seat in the Worship Center, and give directions if needed!

Help greet members and new visitors by serving them a hot cup of coffee and friendly conversation on Sunday mornings.

By serving in production or on the worship team, you can help facilitate worship gatherings at Calvary. We desire to lead clear and compelling gatherings, and whether you are on stage or behind the scenes, we’d love to have you apply and audition for a position.

The Calvary Baptist Communications Team exists to serve our church and its ministries through thoughtful and excellent creative content. Through design, photography, and video, we want to communicate the unique stories of people in and of the collective church, ultimately pointing to the glory of Jesus.

As members of the Glasgow/Barren County community, we want to be servants to the people and systems that make up our county.
Next Step exists to impact the residents in Glasgow/ Barren County by becoming personally, financially, and spiritually responsible to God through the gospel of Jesus Christ.

We want others to experience the joy of being a part of God’s family and a part of the Calvary family. Throughout the year, Calvary puts on various outreach events to reach our neighborhood and all of Glasgow.

We want to love and bless our community, especially those who may be in a season of need. One way we do this is through Blessings in a Backpack. This backpack is filled with convenient, easy to prepare food items. It is a practical and helpful way to show the recipient that we care and are thinking of them.
