What is G2G? – G2G stands for “Generation to Generation” and is our new family ministry emphasis for our church. It is intended for all ages and will be a tool that helps us to memorize God’s Word, learn biblical truth, worship together as families, and encourage cross-generational discipleship.

Where did the idea for G2G come from? G2G comes from 

Psalm 78: 4-7 “We will not hide them from their children, but tell to the coming generation the glorious deeds of the Lord, and his might, and the wonders that he has done. ⁵ He established a testimony in Jacob and appointed a law in Israel, which he commanded our fathers to teach to their children, ⁶ that the next generation might know them, the children yet unborn, and arise and tell them to their children, ⁷so that they should set their hope in God and not forget the works of God, but keep his commandments.”

How does G2G work? Our new family ministry takes the best of the Gospel Project and Awana, combined with the biblical emphasis of family discipleship, as taught in scripture, to equip all of our families to make disciples that will follow Jesus their entire life.  One weekly memory verse combined with a catechism, prayer emphasis for our community and world, songs, and family service opportunities are highlighted by a Sunday morning emphasis during worship and on Wednesday Family Nights. 

When does G2G begin?  G2G is scheduled to launch on Sunday morning October 18^th, 2020.  Pre-registration for our church family begins September 6^th.

Is there a cost per family for G2G?  Yes, the cost to register is $50 per family, which includes a year worth of family discipleship resources and your Family Discipleship Kit! Each kit will include your family journal, G2G age appropriate t-shirts for your family, family song list, scripture cards and other resources that will help our families to know, serve and worship Jesus!
