Learn more about our ministries below:
Kids
Calvary Kids exists to train children in the way of the Lord. This is accomplished with a three-fold approach: Godly Home. Godly Church. Godly Opportunities. Meaning we want to come alongside parents and family members by providing them with tools to lead their kids. As a church, we seek to provide intentional programming led by great volunteer leaders. Lastly, we provide kids opportunities to put their faith in action by allowing them to use their time, talents, and treasure.
Youth
CBC YTH exists to empower students to own their faith. We believe that students are not to be overlooked or underutilized in our efforts to make disciples that make disciples. CBC YTH starts with spiritual and relational investments of great volunteer leaders. We expect that as we prioritize student health, that our students will grow, and the ministry will multiply. Outlets for students include a student leadership team (Leaders in Training), Worship Team, Missions Trips, Prayer Walks, and Kids Volunteers (and more!). We would love for you or your children to get involved in our youth ministry.
Life Groups
Here at CBC, Life Groups are the hub of our ministry. They’re where the real ministry of the church takes place as we study God’s Word while supporting and sharing our lives with one another. We believe that meeting together regularly is time well spent. We offer Life Groups that meet in homes and others that meet on Sundays in our building. We are hopeful that you’ll be able to find a time and group that will offer you incredible community with fellow believers.
Women
We believe that we are called as women to follow the principles set forth in Titus 2:3–5: to train and teach women in the truth of God’s Word, to come alongside and encourage women in their daily lives and their God-ordained roles, and to minister to the needs of others and cultivate a growing love for God. We want a culture that encourages women to live reverently, to grow and be challenged, and to support one another through prayer and service. We offer multiple opportunities throughout the year for women to attend retreats and special events, as well as some periodic 4-8 week studies.
Men
We desire that the men of Calvary look much like what is described in 1 Corinthians 16:13–14: “Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong. Do everything in love.” We want men who love Jesus, love their families, and live courageously for Jesus.
Seniors
The purpose of the Senior Adult ministry at CBC is to engage adults nearing the age of retirement and beyond in meaningful activities. We are a multi-generational church, and it’s important that our Senior Adults be actively engaged in making disciples that make disciples. While we aim for the primary rhythms of ministry to be multigenerational, we do, on occasion, host events for Senior Adults that are aimed to promote fellowship, learning, and serving.
